BatteryInfo is a macOS app published by Kayra LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what data the app and this website do — and mostly don’t — collect. The short version: the app collects nothing and never talks to the internet, and the website uses privacy-friendly analytics with no cookies and no personal data.

The app

BatteryInfo runs entirely on your Mac. It reads battery and power information from macOS system APIs (IOKit and pmset) and displays it in your menu bar. It does not:

• collect, store, or transmit any personal information;
• connect to the internet, send telemetry, or “phone home”;
• use analytics, advertising, tracking, or accounts of any kind.

Your battery data never leaves your device. Your preferences (such as which readout to show in the menu bar) are stored locally on your Mac and nowhere else.

This website

Analytics. batteryinfo.app uses Fathom Analytics, a privacy-focused service. Fathom does not use cookies, does not collect or store personal data, and does not build profiles of visitors or follow you across sites. We see only aggregate, anonymous statistics — such as page views, referring sites, and country — to understand what’s useful.

Hosting & downloads. The website and the app downloads are served by Cloudflare (Pages and R2). Cloudflare may process standard technical request logs (for example IP address and user agent) to deliver content and protect against abuse, as described in Cloudflare’s own privacy documentation. We do not use these logs to identify you.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no local storage for tracking.

Your data & your rights

Because the app collects no personal data and the website’s analytics are anonymous, there is no personal information for us to access, correct, export, or delete. If you have a question or a request under a privacy law such as the GDPR or CCPA, email us and we’ll help.

Children

BatteryInfo is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If we update this policy, we’ll change the date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
